We are

OLD-TIME AMERICAN STRING BAND

(Fiddle, Banjo, Mandolin, Guitar, Bass)

A Barn Dance can be a wonderfully inclusive occasion in which all can join – all ages, all abilities – and which features Waltzes, Polkas, Hornpipes and whirling Reels.

Our music comes from two main sources: the minstrel tunes of the mid-19th century (like ‘Oh! Susanna’) and the fiddle and banjo tunes of the Southern Appalachian Mountains (like ‘Old Joe Clark’). They are great, indeed historic, tunes.
